hi doggy i did pm you but dont know if you got it or not the dpf on the 307 lets the car down i had a 406 for about 9years and never let me down atall i do like my 307 its just anoying that i have to give it a blast down the motorway every 10days or so to get the soot burned of the dpf i have to get mot monday regards remap i have peugeot plannet and the kwp2000 some one on ebay is seling remap file for my car with dpf of and extra 30bhp i am just abit reluctant to start knocking the inerds out of the dpf and it dont work i allso have an anoying knock on the drivers side so dont know what to do first regards/////jim

Well, i just checked nutski file, and it's not the same hw version or sw version.

Anyway he's ecu its HW version 0281010 363 and sw version ending in 049, so mine its 0281010 248 sw version ending in 169.

If i try he's map, will i wreck my car ?

Captain Jack did your Ecu Hardware version and software version matched nutski file ?

If i try he's and it doesn't work, can i put my original one again ?

By the way this map files, mess with the ECU configuration ? I mean, Cruise control ..etc ?

I've tried a few incompatible files, mostly on 2.2's (where it only seems to matter that you have the correct version, [i.e. part or fully multiplexed], though there is some evidence that the very last examples will not work with the ECU map I run).

I had one abortive attempt to install Nutski's file on a similar aged 110.

So far, I've never had problems reverting to the original file, or lost any configuration stuff, (unless it was something really minor. like re-enabling auto-lights).

Nutski file is from a pre multiplexed ecu at least AFAIK 363 ( which is nutski ecu part no.) is one plug only whereas the multiplex ones are 3 plugs. So i Could try he's file on my 248 pre multiplex ecu ?

I think you can try it, but there seem to be many more versions of software for 110's so it may not work. I don't think it will do any permanent harm, so long as you are very sure you have at least two good copies of your own file, you may well need to put it back.

bah... now i can't get the ECU Data ... first time worked perfectly i needed to get home for some files and... now i can't access ECU for some reason ...i could at least in first time get one copy of the ecu... the cable at the socket gets a bit hot .. is this normal ?

I hate this 406 always have problems communicating with diagnostic tools, i wonder how the garage worked well replacing my engine ecu and activating cruise ....never buying french cars ever ...f*cking sh*t eletronics .... ( or maybe it's a chinese galletto ? ) , Maybe for being chinese doesn't mean anything, because the chinese Lexia 3 interface i had didn't worked well with my car and in my friend's car worked first time ... so maybe my car really have some problems ...

Tryed also with windows 7 and nothing, i think the cable is really dead, the chap at fleabay said that i could have over voltaged the cable, i did nothing wrong. It's quality is the worst thing ever made...

Try it on another car - Galletto should work with just about anything. I have seen one example where another owner's Galletto wouldn't work on his car but mine did. Just lucky, I guess.

Yeah, this weekend i'll try my friend's 406 with exactly the same engine ecu .

But the strange thing Doggy, is that first time i used it worked like a charm, but from that on i only get " errore data0" " turn off dash for 10 sec then turn dash on and wait 10 sec " the waiting times is always the same. I read something about this problem on an italian forum with a google translation and one guy was experiencing the same problem and didn't got any solution for it, but i saw also that the cable could have wrecked.

Is there any other better cable than this one ? but i don't want it to be fragile like this chinese rip of ...

does kwp2000 suffer from this problems ?

after testing this galletto on my friends 406 (same ecu as mine ), it worked well every time. So the problem is in my car's obd socket, because sometimes when i'm pushing the cable towards the eobd socket it reads my ecu, but just right after i can't get it to work either ... tomorrow i'm going to an auto eletrician to see what he can do about my eobd socket ...

edit 2:

It looks like my car doesn't go well with chinese stuff, someone that have experience with PSA cars said that the cars made in this year were a bit messy regarding to eobd diagnosis ... so, i might have to buy something a little better ...

Maybe the system isn't working... and i think i may have lost 9.95 EUR here, because paypal doesn't cover digital goods...from what i saw on their " legible claims " only physical goods are legible ...

What are you looking, i have a 110 remap file if you want i can email it to you it did a good job for my 2002 2.0 hdi 110
