Coolant has slight oil multicolour gleem in it
is this normal or is it headgasket? just emptied my coolant into a bucket and it has a slight oil tint on the top, you know the multicolour gleem.

Iwouidnt worry to much,
if it was Mayonaise -/ frothy gunk/pipes under preasure, or roungh running, id worry Abeit,
Get a hose pipe and flush the rad etc,
the gleem your seeing couid be something simple as an Aditive thats been added in the past, Rad weld /kseal etc,

the only symptom im aware of that is one of headgasket is rough running, but this is more jumpy idle sometimes, car almost stalls, and car seems to lag sometimes when i dont give it fullish throttle, more like flat spot.

Coolant (especially OAT) has that kind of affect anyway. looks like rust water too... id say its normal unless you can visibly see oil blobs or mayo
Re: Coolant has slight oil multicolour gleem in it
na it just looks like orangy coolant water with the oil effect shining on the top, not very much.
