mikes right. you need a modified seat ECU from a coupe for the heated seats to work..

below is a link for one. look closely at the picture. the green plug and the black plug at the side of it are what plugs into the heated seat switch you allready have

oh and you will only get the heated bit working if custom fitting to another 406

for some reason the memory cant be done. so you wont ever have the memory function :?

So there's not actually a lot of point fitting the memory ecu then.

WHat you need to do is add an earth to the seat switches (compare the other side's) and on the big orange & white connectors identify the switches and the motors and connect the two together.

Multiple thread conundrum :?

This morning I had a look at the wires on my passenger seat which join the switches directly to the motors, removing the need for the ecu. My dad did this so this was the first time I've had a good look at it (and was up to grovelling about on the floor...). I've numbered this arbitrarily because I didn't have my glasses  :

This is looking at the plugs fitted on the connectors.

Incidentally, this is on a D9 but I know the D8 ecu is identical so I wouldn't have thought Pug would have bothered rearranging the wiring...
