Im about to sell my 406 as ive just bought a c5 estate .
I was going to advertise it on fleabay, but thought i would see if anyone's interested on here 1st...
Quick summary:
1999 v reg glx 2.0 hdi 110 estate d9 silver with a difference.....its executive spec i think less sunroof, ive even badged the front wings executive
its has :
Solid flywheel conversion & new clutch (Veleo) in 2007 so no dual mass issues here.
Bsi/engine ecu and Rapier 5 chrome ring dials/ clock change about 4 yrs ago (still have originals) the mileage on original was 214k the current one reads around 185k give or take will check.total mileage 268 k ish.i have the key code and chassis no, reg from the donor car...
it has two keys.
Allways oil & filters changed every 8k or before in the time ive had it ( since feb 2005 )-uses no oil/ water between services- never has done neither does it leak!.
I ALLWAYS USED MAIN AGENT Parts except for the exhaust which was done around year ago.(original cat and flexi still perfectly solid)
Has full black leather d9 seats & door card with puddle lights which are in good condtion,and the fronts are both electric adjustable and heated ( i was lucky to have the wiring in situ) front seats has side airbags.
Also has cruise control.
Headlight washers
leather steering wheel
has folding mirrors but the passenger was has given up the ghost ! it started go slow and jerky then decided not to fold anymore so only one folding mirror atm
illuminated vanity mirrors both sides
Fuel computer shows an average of around 52 mpg - yeah i drive like an old granny !
Tyres half wornish bf goodrich x 4 ( i do have 4 very very good tyres not on any rims to go with it)
Has a rear mounted later type aerial .
Its a factory supplied seven seater,
Has sat nav type screen ( not with factory sat nav fitted tho) and handset, screen has a few usual verticle lines but still very readable.
Gearbox very smooth in all gears.
