Should my radiator fans still come on when i turn on my aircon even though it needs a regas?
just asking as i've had a overheating problem on my 2.2hdi coupe the garage has changed my radiator fans but im not sure there still working and dont want to push it to much as the last time it overheated it damaged my rocker head seal.
any help would be great

Hi mate,
if your air-con cuts in then the fan shouid come on, normal id say.

Depends on whether it's a later fully-mux car or not. As lozz says, the fan will cut in as soon as you switch the aircon on an early, (up to late 2001) car. On the later ones, it cylces in & out dependant on condenser pressure, therefore without gas, the fan shouldn't run unless needed to cool the rad.

Dont know if you remember me from before christmas but im still running in limp due to the fap
The galetto i got was a dud got 2 so called pro's to look at it but in the end dint know what they were doin so gave up on it, but its just sailed through its mot so im guna try again with it.
