ABS Dash Light

This might sound a bit silly but with the new MOT rules regarding warning lights I thought I'd better check.

Should my 96 1.9td have an ABS light come on when I turn the ignition on?

I changed a few dash bulbs last week and tested all the bulbs but I don't remember seeing a place for an ABS bulb but tbh I wasn't looking for it at the time.

I do remember seeing loads of stuff my car doesn't have tho

Yes it should come on for a second or two. It's an amber light underneath battery warn

it is a mot failure for the light to stay on not all mot testers will fail it though
