I watched those on Sky. Great episodes; that Fiat Dino 2400 is a stunning car, and the Morgan job is interesting because of the amount of work Edd had to do to bring it back from the dead - also they made a shitload of money off it too, biggest profit on any car they've repaired to date.

The newest episode aired on Tuesday night, which was a BMW M5 E39 from 2000, which is a monster car. They needed to fix the suspension and the alternator, the bonnet needed a respray because it'd been badly repaired, it needed a new rear-view mirror because the auto-dim LCD display had burst, and new wing mirror glass on the passenger side. Then they facelifted it by fitting Angel Eyes headlamps and matching tail lamps from a later M5 and installing clear fog lamps on the front (the standard ones are frosted, and one on their car was smashed anyway).

No sky in our house, my dad won't let it in because he thinks its all just pron :cheesy: . The youtube ones are great quality though they show up on our tv as good as live tv.

Other suggestions for youtube, if you want to work at your car would be eric the car guy:

There is some really good in depth videos, even a full 2hr one on changing a focus clutch

The Morgan one, Edd admitted himself that if you took it to a garage it would be £5k+ in labour charges.
They made about £6k on it, so for the ordinary punter who doesn't have a tame mechanic, it wouldn't be worth their while.
Must say, I didn't watch the M5 one. Fed up of BMWs.

Few weeks ago he restored a DeLorean he bought from the US, was interesting. They had to get an expert in to repair a dent in the stainless steel.

They're doing up a Renault Alpine A310 next Tuesday; should be interesting. That car had the same PRV V6 powerplant used in the DeLorean.

Cheers lads, with there being hardly anything worth watching on our tv's i'm always watching shows i download :supafrisk: American tv mainly before it comes on over here so my sky is hardly on unless the kids are watching so i didn't see them advertise a new series of wheeler dealers... So i just grabbed the first three episodes and will now sky plus the rest. :)

Was watching old Top Gears on the youtube.

Clarksons review of the mk5 Escort, he was a bit more diplomatic then than now, but even so pointed out it's many flaws.

clarksons early reviews were much more thorough than today. Best of all was quentin wilsons reviews he had a great way of talking about the cars, he isn't even on fifth gear the last review i seen was one of the mg6 he had obviously been paid off or something because his opinion of the car was positive.

Another good channel on youtube is scotty kilmer, he seems to do a quick repair video every week:
