I'm Back :)

Post by CountryPug »

Hey everyone. Been about a year since I was last on here. Anyway after my 406 rotted away and had to be sold in a hurry I bought a 106 as a runaround. Well I ended up keeping it up until now and did a good bit of work to it. Last week I was looking through gumtree and came across a 405 which was for sale locally. Without a lot of thought I went and bought it and now have the 106 up for sale. The 405 isn't in the most tidy state but it goes like a train and only has 125k on it which ain't too bad for a 17yr old car :)

So I'm just reintroducing myself on here as I remember some of the guys had 405's in a previous life and it's good banter. Will start a wee progress blog at some point after I get some photos taken 8)

Hey Countrypug!

Great to see you again!

Must be a bad batch of rotten 406s.

But I'm looking forward to seeing the 405! Already it's a bit of a classic.

Cheers FarmerPug :) Yeah it looks ok from that distance, up close its quite a bit rougher I'm afraid. Will take a few pics when I start my blog. Already purchased my first parts for it off ebay today, 2 anti roll bar bushes for the front end. Really dunno how they got through the last MOT

They really were a well proportioned car the 405, and have aged very well.
