Had noticed that on the one I nearly bought. When I looked into it a bit more, it seemed that they only went Comm2000 when they did the 2005 facelift (when the front bumper changed & the mouldings became body coloured).

Prince edward might have liked the pound stretcher effect in his car. :cheesy:
There is a lot of scruffy 75's knocking about now, its nice to see one in this condition just as if it has just come off the set of midsomer murders.

75s are currently in banger valley. Cheap enough to pick up that a lot are becoming scruffy and run into the ground. Similar to what happened to a lot of 406s over the years. And like the 406, keep one nice for a few years it'll be classic.

I seem to recall that the COM2000 in the 407 is actually a COM2003, so presumably this is the same in the 607 and hopefully isn't as rubbish.

This 320 went for less than I thought:

Thing is they're just business accessories. Like the suits and briefcases their owners wear, they're very well made and you really can't fault them... and that's all there is to say about them really.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

Very low price.

They're getting very common though, the modern day equivalent of the Ford Cortina.

They are quite boring to look at, the RWD must be their only unique feature. Although the new face lifted 3 series seems to look a bit nicer.

It would be ok, if you got a replacement body and changed all the mechanicals it could be a decent car. :cheesy:

This car looks great:
