Whats in your CD player just now?

Post by Blue406 »

Ok, lets have it.
I assume most of us have CD players in our cars these days. So, whats currently in yours?

I'm not ashamed to say mine is "Greatest Number 1s from the 80s"
some of the tracks include:
Rick Astley - Never gonna give you up
Jason Donavon - Too many Broken Hearts
And one of my all time faves from the 80s:
Men Without Hats - Safety Dance

My music taste is scary!! I prefer the 80s to any other decade. Great foot tapping beats. Though I listen to plenty from the 60s, 70s and 90s... but most of the modern sh*t is, well, sh*t. Rat sh*t to be precise.

I've got:

Bruce Springsteen: Devils and dust
Los Lobos: Will the wolf survive
Morrissey: Kill Uncle
Spin Doctors: Pocket full of Kryptonite
Hafdis Huld: dirty paper cup

And my own compliation with more springsteen, Clapton, Phil Collins, Belle and Sebastian

Its a right mixture!

I can't remember, I usually listen to the radio.

If I had to guess I'd say....

Kaizer Chiefs, The Ordinary Boys, Snow Patrol, The Killers, U2, errrm, that doesn't sound much like a true representation of my musical taste, perhaps I'll have a look later.

Excuses excuses!

I broke the tendon trying to move the basketball board out of the way. Caught the finger in the net around the hoop when I grabed it and .. snap.

The job is doing Unix and Oracle DB administration... boring... but it pays a bit...

Basketball board from where, why move it when you're suppose to put the ball in to it !? lol

That doesn't sound boring, sounds quite good, any spare jobs going there?? i'll need some unix training though lol

This week or rather over the season of short weeks at work, I've had a break from my usual Terry Pratchett audiobooks (can fit about 60 hours worth on an MP3 disc!) and I've been listening to a random 'best of' heavy/power metal albums disc i burnt including (off the top of my head):

Sonata Arctica - Ecliptica
Dragonforce - Sonic Firestorm
Hammerfall - Chapter 5
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Pantera - Cowboys From Hell
Rhapsody of Fire - Triumph or Agony
