Apex lowering springs

Anyone ever used apex lowering springs ? I'm looking to get some for mine just not sure what make to go for any help would be great
2.1 glx p reg d9 half leather electric seats d9 centre console leather steering wheel front lag splitter de badged front end strut brace all grey bits of interior is now black
Things to do finish off fitting leather door cards,coil overs,window tint, fit wolfrace wheels with 20 mm spacers 225.45.17 and the list will continue

ive used them in the past but not on a 406,

ididnt have aproblem with Apex springs tho,

I might give them a go only wanna drop it 40mm

iused Apex springs on a mk 2 mondeo, there prone for snapping springs like the 4o6 does with age,
they where on the car agood 2 years never had aproblem with them other than the ,coating peeling off on them,

shop round for prices if your getting some,they seem to be many acompany charging over rated prices for them,

theres some on ebay for £130 witch seems cheap

is there much difference between the coupe and sallon springs ???

Coupe springs are shorter to begin with, and probably a bit stiffer too. The Coupe sits a fair bit closer to the ground than the saloon/estate even from the factory.

No idea about the actual measurements though.

I am thinking about lowering the Coupe a little bit (no more than 25mm) but will only do that if it looks like the stock springs and shocks are on their way out. Got a fair few other things I need/want to do to the beast first.

We'll I can get a set of saloon APEC springs for 130 they seem ok they have all the treatmeant that normal springs have had might give it ago 50 mm front and 40 mm bk just got to watch out for speed bumps

if your spending 130 on springs would you be just as well buying coilovers from ebay? £160 then you can adjust to whatever height you instead of being bound to 30mm or whatever height u buy
