I've seen similar on a Golf in Ballymena, the rear wheels were basically scraping the inside of the wheelarch!
How is that in any way good mechanical order?
Your wheels should not foul your bodywork!
It reminds me when there was a young fella opposite had a Saxo in Mr Bean-style green with a black bonnet which was lowered.
I used to lower the suspension on the Xantia and it sat lower than his effort .

Aha but how do we know the Merc's not running some trick air-sussy system and he slammed the motor at-da-litez to make him self look inspirational to the young............

Well if I tried that in the Xantia, by the time the suspension got back to normal the lights would be green again and the people behind me would be upset.

The Merc is sat right,
the sideskirts and the Big AmG alloys make it look like its scratching the floor,
plenty of space there, if you drive through Brum you will see plenty like that,
Gets me why they put side skirts on them,
if you look at the sides of it, its got cosworth trim why skirt something that dont need it

When I had the Manta and lowered it 100mm, I had to chop the rear arches out because it was cutting into the tyres
Was ok, as it was covered up by the 400 bodykit

17 grand for a 27 year old car is a bargain My first experiance with one of those my mate was doing one up and brought it into work we were afternoons so he parked it in the wharehouse because he was rubbing it down ready to paint, i was helping him but got a call to go to a different part of the factory... on my way back going as fast as i could get my gas forklift to go he comes sliding around the corner sideways he was flying.... i swerved to the left he flipped the steeringwheel a bit quick and just about avoided a set of forks through his drivers door.
I fooking crapped myself.
