immobiliser
i was told that on my car 406 2hdi 2002 glx that the immobiliser could be turned off,i would just like to say that i have been to 5 different garages in gateshead area this morning and they all have told me that it cant be done.so anybody with the same problem,be warned.i also wasted 10 quid getting the codes for the car.
Re: immobiliser
Thats nonesense, imobilsers can be turned off However ithink not many garages will do it ,
or the peugeot maindealer, they wouid just reprograme the car

Re: immobiliser
I did the sponge fix as a temp fix on mine. In the way of temp fixes its now been through 2 mot's like it. I managed to find some dark grey sponge, and its almost invisible. I did darken it a bit with a felt tip pen. And i'm £140ish better off.
