engine fan runs all the time,help help

i have a 406 2l hdi 110 2002,when i turn ignition on the engine fan runs and continues to run all the time,when i turn engine off it still runs for about 10 seconds,any ideas on how to fix please.

update,got sick of fan always running.so have diconected it now,just untill weather gets hotter.

Hi,
My brothers car had just the same problem on his 406 2002 1,8 petrol. He replaced the fan relays that are located right behind the front grill. Involved taking off thegrill, I seem to remember it wa fixed by som plastick rivets along the top of the grill and lifting off the grill. As far as I remember there were 2 relays that he replaced, and that cured the problem.
