up until a few years ago a scrappy still had loads of these near me i used to see them when passing on the train... they may well be still there...

@lozz was it the yobs or was it on it's side due to the driver being drunk?... I notice these days a few wheelchairs with canopies are always parked outside my local... Surely the cops realise their drink driving?

Chap in the parts department at a garage I used to work at had one of those invalid cars, he lost a leg due to diabetes.

I remember those Daff cars very well, I was an expert at replacing the drive belts on those, they used to snap quite often.

for those that had provisonal only licence,
at one time anyone couid drive a 3 wheeled vehicle on provisional, things have changed tho now,

there used to be alot of plastic pigs about (reliant robins) for that reason,

Motorbike licence as some used to call it, i didn't realise the rules changed though.

Motorbike licence as some used to call it, i didn't realise the rules changed though.

it all changed mate,
at one stage a 16 yr old couid drive one, aslong as reverse gear was disconected iirc
and now, they have to have someone sat at side of them, with a full licence,
there are some 3 wheelers out there tho but there only 1 seat, moped car thing

My old neighbour, they tried to get an adapted van for their disabled son and couldn't, while some scrounger has a brand new car for nothing.

but if its after 7 or 8 or clock iwill park in one, im registerd disabled but idont claim any benefits or have blue badge, itold them to shuv them up the Harse a few years back, its just not worth the hastle having it, id sooner earn my money ill or not

Surely not much hassle getting a blue badge if you're already disabled?

Does it not do your head in to see legitimate disabled spots taken up by audis and bmws that you know fine rightly shouldn't be there?

Blue badge is handy in some places, but most of the time youve still got to pay for parking in most places up here, the traffic hawks pounce on blue badge holders.

isee loads of people in posh cars parking in disabled spots, alot complain tho when they get dents, elderly and some wheelchair bound people can stumble or loose there balance easily, or atleast thats what theyd say if they was caught dinging someones door,
