ultrasonic alarm
My exec has the ultrasonic alarm fitted and the other day i just popped into the local shop and the dog was in the car and i forgot and when it was locked the alarm went off as the dog obviously had moved(scared the poor bugger to death),there is a switch in the centre console with what looks like a sonic symbol on it,i have pressed it but nothing seems to light up on the switch or dash,is this switch for disarming the ultrasonic and if so how do i know when it's disabled barring locking the dog in again

Re: ultrasonic alarm
IIRC, you just have to press it within a short period before locking it with the remote - that should leave the alarm working, but disable the ultrasonics.
If you lock it with the key, it doesn't set the alarm at all.
