water in rear light cluster
i have just found why my 6 disc changer had failed,water falling in from rear light cluster,anybody else had this problem and knows how to fix ????????

Ihad that with the first 406 ihad,
cd changer was full of water, it never worked again bin job,
rear lights to seal them id use silicone,

The 406s are abit less hastle than the Lags mate,
what lag did you have ? the mk1 or mk2 petrol or derv?

had a 2002 diesel 100bhp,but to many things needed fixing and the shitty keys dont last 5 mins had 2 new keys in 5 years

ive got a 04 1.9 dci,
ihavent had it long, one of the key cards were duff, there very easy to repair, saved my self 180 quid,
there not abad car there just prone for electrical problems, last one ihad iweighed it in, water from the bulk head found its way into the fusebox and b.s.i
so ive learnt from that and made sure it dont happen to this one,
They are avery cheap car at the moment, only paid 530 quid for mine and its not far off mint condition wise
But id still say having a 406 is alot less hastle

my laguna was ok at first,but all the door locks went on it and the pas window cord snapped,they r a bitch to repair,engine wize,it was a great engine,erg can choke up,but just removed and cleaned,was ok again.

I think gary406 had similar problems. You can find his posts in the how-to section. Also as lozz said it's better to reseal the lights, it's a 5 minute job. Also if one of your lights is cracked then fix it with some superglue, one of mine was and water entered from there.
