id go for the top pipe easiest one,

ithink if turbo was on its way out you wouid know by the noise,
you shouid get a nice low pitched whistle sound on the 110s

The over reving couid be the cable, check theres abit of slack in it and returning freely
if too tight just pull the clip out and adjust,
I just had the top hose off and as dirty engine parts go it seemed pretty clean to me.

Not yet my mate should be home about 1pm so i've been out and de greased the area ready for him... Got this stuff from my local £ shop called elbow grease it's really good at cleaning up oil bloody good on my bbq too i just sprayed it on left for a few minutes and wiped it up with kitchen roll... I've never heard of turbo failure on a 110HDi, ever :|

Mine used to whistle noticeably, so much I could play tunes with it, but it still boosted away like the best of 'em (spent most of its life smothered in dirty oil too, KKK unit).
