Funnily enough I've only ever fitted one to a sierra XR4x4 Turbo technics conversion, I do have a smaller ford stock intercooler that was used on a 250hp T3 XR4x4 engine if thats any good for you?

It's a matter of being creative. There isn't a hooj ammount of space twixt bumper and rad, but there's acres between rad and engine, so tilting the rad back at the top or tilting the N/S of the rad inwards towards the engine bay are easy ways to make space.
Go on Allards website and download their diesel tuning fact sheet (I think it's a PDF). On it are various pictures of 206 & 306 HDi engine bays that have had this treatment and it allows the fitment of some quite large 'coolers.
