The 406 triggers the headlight washers when you wash the windscreen - but only if the dipped or full beam lights are on. It's not easy to tell that it's happening; the best clue you get is a brief but subtle change in the beam pattern on the ground in front of your car as the water passes over the headlight lens. It's easy to see it happening if you're outside the car though

I'd imagine your Honda does this too - unless there's a separate switch to activate the headlight washers?

Theres a big button on the centre console with an icon of a full beam and a spray of liquid.

i got the bolt kit off ebay for about £15 and sold all of the old plastic clips and pins for the same money.
the egr cleaner its supposed to clean out the egr (i dont really know) the tin says it gets rid of contaminants such as lacquer and carbon, and thats supposed to improve engine performance. all i can say is it smokes a bit less.

Ok cheers, after watching the vid i checked my pollen filter and for a car thats suposedly been serviced every 6000 miles i've never seen anything so dirty in my life... Cant find my camera or i'd post a pic... Time to get one off ebay me thinks it's cheaper than my lmf.

That pollen filter was changed last july they quickly pick up dirt and gain a bad smell.

The problem with putting videos up on youtube is that soon you get shite coming into the email messages:

these messages are always from some person who has never made any videos themselves (so any advice on improving hits is a bit suspicious) in fact their channels seem blank and all they seem to do is send similar messages to other youtube users.

Ill give ade a go, i also think there was a 406 executive breaking on ebay not so long ago, the pump motor itself is ok, its the housing that holds the propellor and pipework going to it that got crushed by the wheel, the t piece must have got pulled down.
No rush though I've left the car parked on the farm to dry until it gets waxed underneath, the old bike is getting used again

Its not that bad, its used on the country roads, but still 4 miles on a bike up mainly hills soon gets tiring, the first day the spasm hit my legs about 10 minutes after i finished its not pleasant, the second day i was ok for cycling but the seat has left me very sore. I gave up after a mile yesterday and cycled back to get the car, you soon appreciate a comfortable seat.

However i still intend to keep at the bike it saves a right bit of money on fuel, it might only be 4 miles from the farm to the house but they are very uneconomical miles, so i have dug an old peugeot racing bike out of the silo with 2 flat tyres and will try and get it going, hopefully the narrower tyres and lighter chassis is easier to cycle.

the silos not a bad place its just a shed with a big opening there isnt even sileage in it just wood chips for the boiler, out of all the old bikes i didnt know what one to try and fix the fact it says peugeot was a help, but it seems to be a good bike nice and light and narrow tyres. it needs a seat though you soon realise the benefit of a good seat after a few miles.

swearing and bleeding hands, the only bit was "for shites sake" when i realised i drove over the pump, other than that no problems, it proves you can service a 406 with one hand o
the ramps help but the long front overhang on the 406 is tricky i needed to drive the car onto wooden blocks then when it was on them drive it onto the ramp.
