mpg display help

how do i get my display to show mpg like the pic i have attached. in mine it only shows the date in the place where the mpg is in the other car.

If your car is LX
that function wont work ,

the lx only shows basic stuff, radio, etc, or atleast my old lx did,
not sure if you can just change Stalk to get more functions,

how do i know if it is a lx.
the logbook says Peugeot 406 D9 STDT 110 2.0

Not sure wether the ST version is same a lx, in terms of the Mfd etc,

Mr Earwig Admin on here as got an ST iirc, he wouid be the Best person to ask on Wether that function wouid /shouid work in the ST version,

You wouid need to have them kind of stalks to get the extra functions id think,
but not sure if they can be just added and be plug & play,

Really? my LX has the trip button on the wiper stalk you press it in and it shows date, miles to next fuel up, mpg and some other mpg thing that goes mental and often shows 999.9mpg.

Really? my LX has the trip button on the wiper stalk you press it in and it shows date, miles to next fuel up, mpg and some other mpg thing that goes mental and often shows 999.9mpg.

MY LX has trip computer too. The thing that goes mental is present MPG ie reflects how you are driving now. It is useful if you want to see the effect of your current driving style. The other MPG is avergae MPG since last reset (hold in trip button)

I think you have to set and option with Peugeot planet to turn on trip computer, you will also need the appropriate stalk. If yours is a late 406 this may be relevant http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WY-Zg6MHLfE
