Strange actions from my engine

Driving along bout 60 and the engine sounded like it had no oil in started knocking its bollox off dip clutch reved it up and it cleared come back 3 times only for a couple seconds pulled over checked I had no leaks etc nothing carried on with Jorney complete fine not a noise I was thinking diesel knock more than oil but what could cause this ?

Sounds to me like a sticking injector on a cylinder.

U reckon I I took them out got them cleaned up it would cure it ?

Couid be timing is (Slightly)too advanced, i might be wrong tho,

2.1? I had the same thing with mine, it's either air ingress or the needlelift sensor on the 1st injector is sticking or going bad, may even be the wiring or the plug.

I got other injector with the sensor so I'll fit that and see what happens but it ent happend again anyway
