Does anyone on here (Doggy?) who has successfully de-FAPed help out other owners to do the same?
Was hoping someone on here might have invested in the kit - rather than me looking to buy it all the bits and risking it, would rather give someone some cash and use a tested method.
AMD near me offered it but wanted half the value of the car to do so.
Anyone on here offer de-FAPing?

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Did indeed read that, it was what inspired me to do it - when I started this thread I could not PM people, else would have gone straight to yourself. I just don't have an ecu flashing tool and would much rather use the same files and kit which have been used successfully before.
I am also not sure how long I will keep the 406. The car is an ideal compromise to tow my Saxo race car around, mainly because I have not got B+E entitlement on my license so stuck with sub 3.5t gross. With the low allowable nose weight of the 406, and having a lightweight trailer, it's not the most confidence inspiring setup - planning on doing my B+E test in the summer and going to something more appropriate next year. That all said the 406 estate swallowed 4 x wheels and tyres, 3 boxes of spares, jack, stands, 2 of the 150 piece Halfords sets, another box of tools, 2x40 litre jerry cans, and still had room for me and a passenger. Best of all with 2 of us in, a full tank of fuel, all the kit plus towing 1250kg, it still pulled up every hill and returned 35MPG.

I'm in Brentwood in Essex by the way, willing to travel - in fact for the price AMD quoted I could travel to Scotland and back for a remap and it would still be cheaper.
