as there is no led on the key, the 206 is full CAN which is why the code reader works on it and not the coupe, the coupe is obd1 and the 206 is obd2 even though there from the same year

Hi James, Just to add though, the coupe doesn't have a red led on the keyfob either, they're exactly the same keys. Could it still be obd1 though?
Glad to finally speak to someone with knowledge of this, cheers james.

the only way to tell if a 206 is full CAN or not is between the key, on the 406 there's no way to tell, as it was never full CAN, the 406 only got a bsi at the most, which makes all 406's obd1

petrol 406's from 2002 onwards are OBD2 and diesel 406's are OBD2 from 2004 onwards
