State of play .
Had the head off nad while deciding whether or not to get another head discovered that the crankshaft pulley had sheared the woodruff key.Checked the head and valves ,camshaft, every thing ok.Got another camshaft pulley and head gasket and replaced everything.Set timing spot on,now its turning normally but still will not start.I've had the injectors out and cleaned them and replaced seals and replaced them in the right order.Any ideas anybody. :(

There's always the possibility you've disturbed something while you've been working - cam sensor?

Or work from the basics - it's getting fuel? Can you hear the lift pump?

Throttle position sensor.......
Check the connections, linkage, moves freely, etc. Get one from a scrappy?
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

That'd be a shocker! If it has one it'll be on the suspension top near the abs.
