Re: 508
I had a quick squint but nothing much, apart from if you open the boot lid and it's got water in it it'll pour it into the boot
Search a few forums, fcf etc. but I reckon it's still too new for all the problems to surface.

Re: 508
Indeed, ask again in 10 years time
Might get some clues from www.peugeotforums.com. So far the 508 stuff seems pretty superficial; the answers are usually "read the manual" or "go back to the dealer". The 407 stuff might give a few clues of what is to come; that seems to be mostly FAP related or navigation/radio system not working.

What on earth have you got planned for it?
Is that possible?!lozz wrote:still searching for something solid that will run 24hrs aday none stop.
Doesn't the 508 have a service contract that means when it breaks down you push the Peugeot button on the dashboard and they come and sort you out? (I know Mercedes do this.)

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

(I hope they didn't put a Siemens ECU on it.)
That seems sensible.steve_earwig wrote:I'm thinking nothing made this century...
They seem to like their Skodas round here.steve_earwig wrote:I'm guessing mini cab
I'd expect the 1.6 HDis to get thrashed and duly die. The 2.0 aren't very efficient on town driving---irrespective of what car you put them in.
