That's them Fracas underpinnings showing through........
Well done Doggy, I bet you're chuffed with the results and knowing it's been done proper and everyfink....
Yes, TBH I'm amazed at how bad it had become, gradually without me noticing. Steering no longer wanders or tramlines, no more 'boing' and it definitely benefits from new shockers.
I was so pleased, I even washed it last night.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
Both my top strut bearing are seized. Has anybody worked out if there is any way to inject some oil or grease or penetration fluid to the top strut bearings to make them move again without taking them off the car? Dont mind if I have to drill a tiny hole as it can always be bunged up afterwards.
Reason is car has only done 85k (i hope) and steering does not squeak nor is it stiff. Steering only pulls off to the left. Have had 4 wheel alignment done by Peugeot dealers and everything else checked by them.
Yes the spring twists as you move the wheel but since i dont get any knock or bumps, I was hoping o squirt some well places wd40 into them to get them moving. Then add some oil or molten grease in to keep it lubricated.

Is it possible to squirt something in there?
It is possible to get lubricant in there, but as Doggy said, it won't help much....you must replace them or you will break your springs!
i know this is probably a daft question but is there only one bearing per side? ive looked at the kit on ecp for about £74.00 & theres 2 bearings, http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Peuge ... c3e&000346 many thanks, lee
