Lift pump help please

How foes the lift pump come out? Ive located it under the rear seats, but this hole is far too small

I had to take the tank off on my estate. I've heard you can get the pump out on a saloon but I can't see how it would be different to an estate, even if you can get the locking ring through the hole there's no way you can see the seal to line it all up.

Use rubber lined mole grips and gently bend up the metal lip of the body work ,
remove and replace then using the flat side of a lump hammer as a flat gently
tap back the lip with rubber mallet to original position .

Cheers. Attempted to take it out earlier today and possibly have misaligned a seal so in desperate need!

The pump is out. Never seen one before, i was expecting to see dome kind of motor! Very confusing, why is there 4 wires going to the lift pump, but only two inside?

Siemens injectors and ecu, soo most likely. The lift thing doesnt make a noise then?

Not when it doesn't exist, no. I guess I should have checked your other posts, instead of assuming you knew what you were about :oops: Clean the mesh filter & stick it back in, these are not the 'droids you are looking for :shock:
