Coolant Thermistor

Post by V6Exec »

Got my PP2000 system working, and I had an permenant failure come up on the coolant thermistor.

Clearly not a real problem because the car does not seem to mind having the error.

Any ideas how to fix the fault?
Remember - it only takes a few inches of water to drown a 406 don't make the same mistake I made! The V6 Exec is no more.

On the V6 (ES9J4 at least) there's three coolant temperature sensors - green, blue and brown iirc. They're located on the thermostat housing so you need to take the air filter box and pipework off to get to them. I remember one of them being a right stretch to reach
