You're right I still don't have an ebay account, I tend to buy stuff from amazon.

Posting an advert upon joining is a bit crafty you should at least introduce yourself and explain your actions, we don't mind too much but this isn't a place to sell cars without really offering anything in return.

I hope you get some interest though and the car finds a good home.

It would be nice to see something like "this is my 406 whatever which the time has come to sell after so many years/miles of trouble free motoring " but I don't think it's a prerequisite. On the other foot, if it was a Ford Mondeo or a BWM e1234567890 then absolutely, eff right off.
