Well, it looks like I've just won the replacement, so if anyone's interested let me know soon cos I'll have to advertise it.......

Also available with 136 horses should you prefer.

Just realised, it's 4 years to the day since I bought it.

Took a l - o - n - g time to find a low mileage replacement at sensible money, I'd almost given up trying.

Let's say I'm quietly confident and have the necessary AWA certificate....... ('Andy Wiv 'Ammer). :supafrisk:

As you've doubtless tumbled by now, its an '03 exec in grandad green with cream levver, a little shy of 88k, 6 month's ticket and generally pretty tidy, this time with satnav. 8)

Believe it or not, I've yet to drive it, but did have the priviledge of following it for 150 miles back from Canterbury. My bro pronounced it, 'a gem', an opinion based on the lack of rattles, play in the controls and so on. His 1.9 TD's on 167k and the dogmobile, (which he had a cruise control & COM 2000 stalk familiarisation session in on the way down), is nudging towards 190k

It's got the FAP w/l on and a low additive message, but it's not in limp mode. The dogmobile's massively quicker at the moment, but it's no slouch. :)

Needless to say, it's far from perfect, normal wear and tear stuff and a habit of putting on the l/h indicators whenever the r/h self-cancels.
(No, dear - I haven't seen your sponge). :supafrisk:

More depressing news, as I discover it........................
