Anyone Seen Le Boulet? (Best 6 Coupe Chase Ever!)

Post by ThePrisoner »

Here is a link to a clip from the french film 'La Boulet'.
It is the scene in which a 6 coupe (a pinnanfarina one at that) is chased by the police.

Excellent.

Brilliant clip, seen it many times and it's been discussed on the coupe forum. One thing to notice is the wheels, different in different scenes. Obviously used more than one car. Still good though.

You sure? They look the same to me, but I'm no wheel nut... (bad pun)

I'll be getting the dvd come payday I think. I assume everyone here has Taxi/Taxi 2? :)

Hehe.....there's something not right about that film clip:
  • When he first looked in the glovebox (gun) it should not have closed without falling open again, then having to slam it shut again.

There was a lot of 'rear end' action (oo-er) meaning the handbrake would have to be fully operational

After the jump the car was still functioning, not even an ANTI POLUTION FAULT message on the display
Bloody film makers, allways bending the truth

It didn't even sound like a 406 glovebox! As for the back end action, the first skid was definitely a lift-off jobbie but the others yes, the rear wheels were locked. That was no ordinary 406! Forget the modifications in Taxi, I want that done to my car! ;)
