DP Engineering (their website's currently down) did a turbo conversion for these things, giving it stupid power. It used the standard inlet manifold and throttle body, so I doubt there's much to be gained from changing it.
You should really be looking into improving the handling before adding more power to the already pushed chassis. I'd suggest a strut brace and quality rubber as a first port of call. A custom subframe build will probably vastly improve things too as those spacers don't look like they're doing anything good for rigidity.
Also, are the ECU and relays just left loose behind the headlight?

Yeah i have seen them DP Turbo kits, Expensive but would be fun.
As for handeling i have fitted Koni coilovers, Top OMP strut brace, lifted the engine and subframe 15mm and bought some new wheels and Yokohama A048s
As for the ecu and relays there bolted to the chassis leg on a tray behind the ecu so there not just hanging loose
Anyway a Few updates, Been a little quiet as been updating my thread on the gti6 forum. Most of this will probs not make much sense as its too late go go through it all and i have just copied updates off the gti6 forum but edited most of it haha
Got a few new parts over the last week or 2
Sump guard turned up, its f**king heavy like!
new wheels, exhaust and BMC filter B)
Wish i just cracked on yesterday and got finished!
Had to sort my Garage out a little so i could find some tools 1st before I could even start on the car, Starting to get a nice collection of wheels in there :lol another set coming tomorrow as well.
1 set of 17" 307 HDi challange alloys - for the girlfriends 206cc
1 set of 15" very good condition (as some may say on ebay) RARE Cyclones :lmao
1 set of 17" Audi S4 alloys
1 set of 19" BMW X5 alloys - Genuine borbets, 9" wide fronts and 10" wide rears
1 set of 16" speedline 2108s
And tomorrow i am collecting a set of Speedline 2118s
Fitted my coilovers last friday and thought while the front wheel arch was easy to get to i sorted a few more little bits and bobs while i was at it. Noticed the CV boot on the N/S had no grease left in so cleaned that up and put some fresh grease in and a new CV tie on, Cleaned and sprayed the inner wheel arch, i was going to under seal it but did not see the point as it cleaned up very well, Made a start puling a few pits and bobs out the way under the bonnet so i could spray the strut tops and easy to access bits.
When the shaft was out i noticed there was more room than i had thought between the shaft and the subframe. Anyway got everything done on the passenger side yesterday.
New ride hight
Only got the pass side coilover fitted on the friday and just left driver side till the saturday... Bit more work to be done on this side. CV boot had no tie on so all the grease had came out of that one too, Down pipe is a mess! Dented to avoid the subframe what wont be helping at all! 1 of the welds is cracked as well, could do with a new down pipe to be honest if i can get hold of 1 that is.
Then is got dark and started to p**s down!New cup turned up last week too.

Sunday i went to Scotland to pick up a few parts. Here is what my tyres are like after 250mile of fitting my coilovers, Both front tyres are about the same. I have cyclones there with good Yokohama S-drives on but there like now and dont really want to kill them like these are. Think if i can be bothered after work tomorrow i will crack on lifting the subframe but all depends on the weather.
Fitted the CDA filter what makes a good difference and tones down the engine noise a little over the ram air. Just waiting on a silicone pipe to come so i can loose the long floppy rubber intake pipe.
Also collected my old scorpion exhaust, Thought middle and back box would be a straight fit but the way the exhaust has been modified to fit the v6 engine only the back box would go on so i need to get a modified de-cat pipe made up to suit the GTi6 straight through middle section. Back box looked ok when we fitted it but it has pushed right up against the bumper now and started melting it
Also picked up the speedlines. I am getting to like the black speedlines that i have on the car at the minute but the new speedlines are much better i think. Just need painting and tyres fitted then i can get them on the car. Picked up a good set of Yokohama A048s off seb to go on the new speedlines
Now a few pics we got before i set off home
Managed to lift the subframe today as the wishbones were at a funny angle and part of the reason my tyres were getting killed. Spacers were 31mm so i chopped them down to 15mm as a trail fit to see what the room world be like for the shafts ect... all looks ok and and the subframe didnt look to be touching anything but its back to being very close! At least my wishbones have levelled out abit, tracking will be getting done saturday afternoon so fingers crossed it should stop scrubbing my tyres off. Daver6 has managed to knock me up some new spacers when he was it work today so they are all level instead of the terrible jobbie i done cutting them :lol
