BTW I'd like to see a pic or two of your 1974 BMW, was the 2002 the Turbo'd model? I remember a guy had one in my area when I was a kid - it was more like "Whooshhh" and "what was that?"

Welly is right. You either get a great one or bad one. I have a 06 passat 2.0tdi previous 406 hdi. Soft ride and refined engine thats the pug. As for the rest the passat runs rings around the 406.
