Not the car's fault that you only bought a teaspoonful of fuel - fecking fuel duty is taking the piss!

There was meant to be a massive fuel price increase here on new year's but the government relented and lumped tax onto luxuries like bread and milk instead

Atm its hard to work the Mpg out on this pug,

one minute the fuel gauge can be showing the fuel warning light, and then it will creep back up to just under half a tank,

Couldn't find none. (waited too long, I guess).

The fuel gauge on my Xsara appeared completely random, until I sussed that they'd done the damping in software, so it paid MUCH more attention to the initial reading when turning the key on, then took forever to sort itself out if it had been parked on a slope.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

The 306 is finnished other than the air con to top up its faultless,
Might look for abit more power tho (ecu-chip/ Mapp ??) the 1.6 seems abit gutless Hill climbs, on the flats its good enough,

today igot the track rods fitted, and jet washed the wheel arches and floor, got the original colour of the car under there now instead of Mud & grime,
just need to copper grease the brake pipes,
