estate tailgate trim

Just a quick question folks,but I have a p reg estate lax,and would like to know if there is supposed to be any plastic trim at the top of the tailgate by the hinges.

I'm not sure which bit you mean, perhaps you could take a pic, and then i'll look at my pair of 406 estates, D8 and D9, and tell you what mine have.

Just inside mate as you lift the tailgate across the top by hinges.

Neither of mine has had any, (though I agree, it looks like it should).

Yep, both mine are naked to.

Nothing on the hinges either.....

ive had alook on my 306 estate it dont have them on that either,
must be a pug thing, perhaps there still on the floor in the pug factory

abit of spray grease keeps em from rus'tin up as'pose,

I think your'll find there for the optional sun blind fixing's as shown in exploded diagram,
p.s I looked ' three cars before buying mine & all looked like somthing was missing inc; the one I bought (4 th)
