Hot Hot Hot!

Post by STALLED »

So whilst in old blighty, you are freezing your bollocks off - we in Australia are having the polar opposite (bad pun I know)...

http://www.smh.com.au/environment/weath ... 2ce33.html

Sydney was a rather balmy 43 degrees here today. The advantages of working in an air-conditioned office are rather awesome at this time of the year! Ended up paying for parking today to keep the 406 out of the sun as temperatures like that like to cook the car's interior!

9:30pm here and it is still hovering around 35 degrees!

Melting slowly....

Yes we haven't really seen winter yet (strangely enough so soon after me buying a full set of winter tyres  ) but I'm sure it'll hit us soon. I'm hoping for a heap of snow to try out me tyres

Joel - that's bloody hot mate, hotter than the human body :o

Take care out there.

I just got a text from my brother - "UK struggling under 20mm of snow, schools closing, road chaos, rail delays, airports expecting delays" He knows how I love a good laugh

It's all relative, but I'm not going out today, well not in the car anyway. Can you imagine how stroppy I'd be if I so much as touched a rim on a curb???

For some strange reason this weather always makes me want to go for a ride on my bike :? :supafrisk:

Yes, I can see it now ~~~~~~

Local man's screams causes mini avalanche

A local man caused disruption today as emergency services were called to a sudden "mini avalanche". The man (who refused to be interviewed) was said to have let out an "unearthly scream" at high frequency triggering the disaster.

A witness saw the man driving his Volvo luxury car when he 'glanced' the curbstone gently. The witness described the man as being "severely distressed" as he got out of the car and fell to his knees next to his off-side front wheel. The witness was "reluctant to offer assistance" as he'd seen the man about a year ago shouting at a Peugeot estate car believed to be suffering a miss-fire.
