Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
i bought mine just over a 1000 miles ago and have no idea what it had put in but for the 2 invoices i have the previous owner expended alot of money more than £1000 in march and may last year before selling it and the only problem that it has is the 3rd gear is a bit hard to engage sometimes

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
Only bought the car about a month ago for £400 off Ebay, but previous owner was a mechanic and assured me clutch and recon gearbox had been fitted at 230k. Drives sweet as a nut. Engine still packs a punch and pulls like a train
. It had clocked up over 150k after 4 years think it was a company car or taxi judging by leasing company that originally owned the car. Just goes to show that if there maintained well enough they will last a long long time.

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
168k miles on mine HDI (90) 2002
I am not renowned for looking after cars I tend to get them fixed when they break as opposed to preventative work
i bought the car at 118k with full SH...
It was last serviced in a garage at 110k
I tend to do oil and filter changes when I get round to it...probably 3 times in 50k miles
just spent quite a bit on it this week and done teh filters and oil also
Hopefully it'll tick along though my MPG was way down in the 30s im hoping since fixing the seized rear brakethat this figure may go up to mid 40s again

Re: HOW MANY MILES HAS YOUR PUG COVERED?
196k rolled past on my way back from Sheffield last week.
Here's the round-trip:

Since the MPG estimates are always about 10mpg below brim-to-brim calculations on my car, I expect this to have been 65 to 70. And it was a damn sight more comfortable than a Toyota milk float.

2.1 went past 222,222 miles on a day trip to France yesterday
45mpg average, lose quite a lot of economy at 130kph (80mph) on French autoroutes over the 70mph on UK motorways.
