Well it went in, £227 later and I've got it back (not cleaned incidentally). The mechanic put the following notes down:
"Fitted new exhaust differential pressure sensor as faulty, cleared faults out of ECU & road tested. Old exhuast pressure sensor full of water from FAP filter being steamed out. After cleaning out, car needs to be run with pipes to pressure sensor disconnected to dry out exhaust completely"
I'm wondering now as, the light went off for 2 months, before coming back on when it rained.
Unfortunately, it's been dry for a few days and the light wasn't on when I took it in this morning. I'll update after a couple of weeks to let you know if it stays off. FINGERS CROSSED!!

I don't believe that was the problem, just the mechanic having a go at someone even daring to do "DIY" (swear word at a dealership).
As I said, it was fine until the rain/damp started.
Anyway, still crossing fingers!!

I think I can safely describe the 1007 as a cross between a milk float and a disabled car.
I can't believe Peugoet marketed the car for the young buyers, as a funky fashion statement.
I showed it to my boss and he said "this would be ideal for my father, he's 80". Says it all really.
And the novelty door thing lasts for a few goes and after that, Welton's right, you start shouting at the car.

I hate those slidy door things, it's a tense time watching the f**king thing slowly head towards the door catch and then slowly click to.
You feel like shouting F**KING HURRY UP YOU STUPID PIECE OF SH*T
If I made a sliding door it would go like sh*t of a shovel and slam properly.

when the doors are open you arent supposed to be able to do more than 5mph, but there was a recall as this wasnt happening
the 1007 was a disaster it ways only about 200kgs less than a 406 and is very underpowerd, the 107 is a MUCH better car (well it is a toyota duh
), and suprisingly quick

I agree about the 107, my neighbour has last week bought a C1 (same car), and looking around it, I was well impressed with the value for money.
The 1007 doesn't fit in anywhere in the Peugeot range and is a real mismatch. A bit of a nothing car with a near useless boot for a city car. Well overpriced too.

My old mans just bought a 2003 607 with less than 10k on the clock with the 2.2 HDi engine. 2 days after he bought it (from a dealer, with warranty!) the anit pollution warning comes up and it goes into limp home mode. he took it to another dealer (place he bought it from was a few miles away) and they replaced a sensor or something ,not sure exactly what was done, but he takes me out in it today and the f*cking warning comes on again and it goes back into limp home mode. Can;'t beleive a car with such low mileage can go so wrong! He's taking it back to the dealer tomorrow and if they can't fix it, I think he's going to demand his money back under the 40 day satisfaction bullshit!
