2nd gear getting notchy slight crunch.but clutch new

hi there,i changed my clutch and flywheel about 6,000 miles ago but now 2nd gear is notchy and crunchy.if i change gear slowly it is fine,could my gearbox be on the way out?or could it be something else.the car has done 163,000 miles.i didnt change the gearbox rubber mount when i did the flywheel could that be the problem.thanks steve
