well she's broken once more
this has to be the luckiest day i have had in a long time as it through the aux belt and it did not go into the timing belt then as i got up off the ground a hgv service van pulled up to the pump next to me and evan help out too so that's the the luck. now for the bad bit shes broken and i am not shour it worth the parts as the mots next mouth and one of the seat belt anchor points has rusted out and i know that i need a track rod end and then theirs the other stuff that it will fail on and its been written off in the past heavy fount end damage.

Sorry to hear that
HDi 110 isn't it?
There's no shortage of them about -- depending how picky you are (OK, so for Stu there are very few about
)
So based on that I'd say it's had it's chips.
If it were something "classic" like a 1.9 or a 2.2 they I'd consider persevering, but not for a 110 unless it's amazing super exec spec with every possible extra and in immaculate condition.

And I kind of said the same about my own: it has served admirably, but it's nothing special and is eminently replaceable. At nearly 200k we're into the end game now, and when it's done it's done.

Re: well she's broken once more
ye she's a 110 with a 90 engine and possible ecu with dogey electrics and chassis twisted up like a pretzel and rusty , god knows what the mileage is as i think the dials where replaced with the dash.
so ye a got a bit of a shiter but the good thing is that it may well be broken for parts
oh and don't for get the miss fire and 1500rpm

I wouldn't feel sentimental about breaking that!
