Volvo Corner? Is it that much of a phenomenon now that ex-406 owners buy Volvos?
I was thinking of getting a V70 Turbo, but I'm a bit worried now that it'd just look like I'm following the crowd...
That does look nice though Dai.

Yeah get one, you know you want to, then you can join our secret society and help to brainwash all the Pug owners out there, mwahahahaha!!!!
Aaaaanyhow, she's been a bit neglected over recent months with the cold and dark and shyte weather, and a 370 mile round trip last week in light drizzle really didn't help the cause, she was absolutely minging!! So I snuck off work a bit early this afternoon and showed her some bubbles . Before and after pics you say? Oh go on then!!
I've got this nasty stone chip on the bonnet:
Which as you can see from the reflection of the carport roof is actually dented inwards quite badly...
I've got the right touch up paint for it but was wondering whether I should be trying to push it back out a bit before painting. I've taken the bonnet liner off for a look and (as always) it's right on a strengthening rib, so I can't get right behind it . What do you think?
Re: My new mowtah
Blooming heck Dai she don't half hold the salt i see what you mean.
That chip/dent is quite nasty I'd be tempted to call a pro out after all the money you spent on her.

Re: My new mowtah

Re: My new mowtah
Dai I'd be getting that done by a professional mate!
Even when I was working for a detailing firm and I was doing stonechips myself I was never happy with them and most of them were completly undetecable under sunlight!
Paul Jarvis from Chips away comes highly reccomended in South Wales. Going to get him to hide the scratch on my bonnet over easter as a tempory measure until I can get the whole front end repsrayed.

Re: My new mowtah
Stone 'chip'? more like bullet hole I'd get dent masters or someone to 'work' the metal and colour it back in.
My car gets incredibly dirty too. I think the wheels are placed right out at the edges of the car to give it a wide stance but that means the car gets covered in shyte. The 406's wheels were 'tucked in' to the arches a lot more.
Dai I'm not so sure your mud flappage solutions have done much there?
And Dai, can I spot a green Micro Fibre Noodle Mitt there? I'm using one at the moment (in conjunction with my Meg's Bucket with grit-guard technology ).
