Looks quite tidy

Post by V6Exec »

Looks quite tidy, probably worth more than the current bid in parts - it even has the sat nav screen

Remember - it only takes a few inches of water to drown a 406 don't make the same mistake I made! The V6 Exec is no more.

I emailed the guy and he says that nothing on the dash lights up and the only thing that seems to work in the car is the interior lights.

I was thinking about it, expecting it to be a dead BSI, but concluded it wasn't worth more than about £350 recovered, (at least to me), but obviously a few people have a different view.

Could make someone a decent car - looks like it's got a BE series 'box, (as the semi-mux 2.2's seem to have).

Often wondered if these would revert to component form if introduced to 400 Nm plus. :supafrisk:
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

I'm shocked with the prices of 406 tbh,
Not sure if anyone else as noticed but they've fallen through the floor,

Must be the fuel prices lowering prices on dervs,
Confusing.

Well 406s have always been a lot for the money, but it's unusual to see so many 2.2s and under £1k.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.
