Hi, my 2001 2.0 HDI Est. went metric one day when I left the ignition on by mistake now it looks like it has done 315,000 which must be Km.
How do I change it back to good old British Miles, please ?

Is this the odometer in the gauge cluster, or on the MFD?
If it's the MFD, you can change the units in the settings menu, which is accessed by holding down the left button. Then you press the left button to move through the menu and the right button to change the setting.

Thanks - Not in the MFD.
Is in the panel that shows the Oil Level and Service Due information - Below the STOP warning Indicator
Along with the Trip meter. I can reset the trip meter and the service due interval and the dash display light intensity, but not the total mileage indicator Units

Unless it changes with the MFD (I don't know if it does), you probably need a helpful soul with Peugeot Planet 2000 to set it for you.

It hasen't just doubled the mileage by any chance has it?
Peugeots have a lovely feature where if you remove and refit the instrument cluster it likes to double the mileage. Wondering if yours has had a slight loose connection or similar?

Possible. It has suffered from the momentary loss of rev-counter/speedo/ power Syndrome. But I got the idea that it was Kilometres rather than a straight doubling as soon as it happened. Going to ask my nephew to return my remap equipment and have a go with that soon.Bailes1992 wrote:It hasen't just doubled the mileage by any chance has it?

Re: Odometer gone Metric back to Miles Please
UPDATE :
I Have Run a Test
Zeroed Tripmeter and compared it to Odometer over a Known Milage:
Odometer is measuring MILES!
So here is the "Odometer Reading and History" from the last MOT Certificate:
06/03/2013 : 314944
23/03/2012 : 303667
15/03/2011 : 147891
18/03/2010 : 131696
Thanks again to 'Bailes 1962' it looks like some kind of double reading , as you suggested but according to my servicing record the change occurred at about 150,000 leaving only 3,000 mls to be done before the next MOT....its not enough - doing at least 10k mls/year. So STILL a mystery and anyway.....HOW DO I FIX IT ??
