Display Settings..

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Display Settings..

Post by trufflehunt »

On the display computer on my D9 HDI Exec, I noticed that current or average mpg displays
as , for example, 50,4 rather than the usual Uk format of 50.4 .

Can't seem to see an option in the settings sequence, or have I missed something..?

( Yes, I know this isn't very high up the scale of things that can go wrong. Just wondered though)

You can only change it between mpg and l/100km. I don't think you can change the , to a .

I too believe you're stuck with it.

BTW: the silly 'favourite' numbers it comes up with, e.g., 47.9, 50.4,... are all nice round numbers in l/100km.

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

It's a bit like that Russian jet in the Firefox movie with Clint Eastwood. Except instead of Russian, it's thinking in French behind the scenes ;-)
