Fecking little barstewards!!

Post by scotty73 »

No I'm not talking about Jimmy Savile :supafrisk:

I'm talking about mice, the evil little bastards that have now had me two winters in a row.

Last year they my caravan groundsheet when i had left it in the a-frame thinking it was secure  now today i just been out the shed to lend a friend my trolley jack and thought I'd get the camping gear in to make sure it's all in good order.

Was it hell they've had my double airbed  do these things have some sort of a rubber fetish?

We had rats in the attic a few years back, that wasn't nice. There was no insulation up there so we were kept awake by the little feckers doing the hurdles over the beams  . Took 3 visits from the rat man to get rid of them.

I get Mice in my Office, they are disgusting twats. They eat rubbish from bins, they eat other mice caught in traps and are destructive. I think we underestimate just how common they are - they are everywhere around us to some degree.

Our cats are always bringing in mice, they bring the little buggers in alive and play with them for a while, then want food when they get bored. Meanwhile the disease carrying little pests disappear into the furniture. Last one was about 3 says ago, muggins had to squish it with a rolled up newspaper :frown:

After catching 5 in the attic there doesnt seem to be any more, we filled all the gaps around the edge of the roof with yellow expanding foam which seems to have worked.

Just an idea for those who want to be a bit more humane:

We've got the buggers in the wall cavity in the kitchen, I think they are climbing up through the wall to the loft.
A couple have escaped, traps on order! They chewed through the overflow pipe to the sink and we ended up with a nicely flooded cupboard, I'm sick of the vermin. Exterminate!

Well the airbed has been replaced i got one on offer in Tesco it's the same as the ones i bought for the kids last year and i was well impressed with them so if the double is has good I'll be happy, now all i need is the wife to stop feeling the cold and we're ready to give the tent an airing... might even venture over the bridge somewhere next weekend if i can get over the mental issue of having to pay to get back into gods country. :supafrisk:
