About bloody right that they'll all start popping out of the woodwork now it's too late for me! In truth though, I probably wouldn't have gone for that one anyway. Judging by the rather chunky twin electric towbar it's pulled a fairly hefty caravan which could mean a few rear suspension components & a clutch in the near future.

Funnily enough I was considering the 110 HDi Exec with 102k that a new member was looking for £995 for on here. Asked for pics of the outside & inside. Got the pics of the inside, but I haven't heard anything more since I questioned what it had been towing after seeing a chunky towbar with twin electrics that had only ever been used to tow a small trailer according to the "For Sale" post.

I never even clicked to that. Reckon it's a retrofit as everything else looks to be SE - white dials & black ash wood trim. Also a suspicious looking grey catch on top of the otherwise black leather rear seat. Looks quite a decent motor on the surface, but there seems to be a bit of a story behind it.

It's either a retrofit or an option.

That looks in cracking condition too.

If it had pulled a caravan it wouldn't have bothered me much, most of the miles done of caravan journeys are on the motorways.
These Peugeots are gettinig to the age where you're likely to be replacing suspension bits anyway!

Damn true, these 406's didn't win Caravan Club Towing Car of the Year in 2001 for no reason you know
Damn good work horses, that being said I wouldn't want to fit a tow bar or tow anything with this, she's a bit too thirsty already for my liking

Looks mint that, I want those dials

I don't know if the seats are from an older car as the rear headrests have a "design" on the face of them but the ones on mine have a smooth face to them which is the same year as that car,why would a 1 owner car have had the trim replaced, bit sus to me.

Problem with that is unless you can seperate the cluster and just use the dial faces you could end up with 191k on your car if you just plugged it in and relaced the whole lot :(
