Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Funnily enough, I joined a Skoda forum to ask some questions regarding my Mum-in-Laws Fabia, around 6 weeks ago and guess how many replies I received??

None.

If I have a question on this forum, I normally get many replies within the hour.

This place is great :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

P.s. I'm after an update for my sat-nav but finding it hard to find a Pug Navteq RT3 later than 2002, does anyone have one I can ' borrow ' :supafrisk:

Ididnt have much problems with the lag I had,

Other than the stupid key card reader
And having to pay stupid money for rear brake discs
120 a disc was a joke, :-)

The cheap road tax and insurance made it seem worth while tho.

i can understand the rear disc issue don`t they come with the bearings
the tax on mine was more than my 406 (135 a year) compared to 190 on the lag
do all 407 come with dpf on them got my eye on 57 plate 2.0 136 bhp se

Yeah.. the rear discs have the bearings,
The road tax on mine was peanuts,

One of the cheapest cars I've insured so far, and that was with a declared re/map
The 1.6 pug I've got now is 380 more expensive to insure compared to the lag

Id buy another one if icouid find one that don't have the 6pk gearbox
It seems to be made of cheese

Sorry mate,
If it was the 5spd I'd of been interested
I've seen too many 6pk gearboxes fail,

I'm not trying to say yours is a bad en mind,

The lags are holding there money ATM you will have no trouble selling it

I'm staying with my 306 for awhile longer ..pugs seem albeit cheaper for parts,
