MOT tomorrow

Post by Sonia406 »

Can I ask that you all keep your fingers and toes crossed and hope for a pass.
I will report back tomorrow evening if it doesn't get too late.

I am so nervous I actually feel sick.
I am taking a friend (kinda have to don't I  ) and we are both observing and watching the MOT.
I am not letting the car out of my sight.

God forbid she decides to flash up any warning lights tomorrow afternoon, I am going to probably abort the mission completely and sell it as spares / repairs.
LOVE this car to pieces because of what she represents in the way she helped me out of a bad situation last year BUT there is only so much grief one can take!
Give me a 205 ANY DAY!

They don't - no one will notice me on the roof doing a Mr Bean act on an arm chair, ropes to control the steering

Best of luck for tomrrow, Sonia.

Failure is not an option - you can't give up on the 406, cos you'd miss us lot too much. :P

Try telling Miss Pug that won't you?
Stubborn bitch

Have decided if or when abs light re-appears I shall be eliminating the connection box above the fuel tank. Taking back the wires car side about an inch if I can, and by all means, putting a different connection on there. Not sure how I would cable tie the new connection down, probably soldering the wires together than putting heat shrink around it and securing it somehow.

I honestly don't think a new abs control module is in order. Perhaps I should be ruling that out before I jump to conclusions about the wiring, or connection.

Thanks Doggy!
