Anothr Key Fob Question

One of the micro switches on my two button remote has broken off and I've lost it,if I buy another used key fob and reprogramme it I know it will unlock it but will it still let the car start or will I have to have my old key fob near the ignition for immobiliser enabling? Also has anyone transferred the internals into a flip key fob? and whats the recommended reprogramming way for them,i have investigated reprogramming them and there seems to be several different ways out there.Car is a 52 plate LX hdi estate.

As far as i am aware you can't reprogramme a used key fob,any programming of keys for a 52 plate will have to be done with someone who has PP2000 i think or at a dealers.

You need the 4-digit PIN code for your car and PP2000 to initiate a key, 'learning' sequence. Apparently, this can be for up to 5 keys.

You will need a vin-pin convertor, I think,
No access to one mind as far as I can see,

So main agent, I'm afraid

They don't do that any more - whatever loophole they had was closed. I paid £20 to a guy on "peugeotforums" to get me the codes - he was very quick and I had it the next day.
